The Chamber has been developing and planning to bring a flexible work space to Eureka and, with your help, we will soon make it a reality.
The flexible work space model is not new. “Incubators” are changing business in towns and cities across the country and your Chamber feels strongly that it will be successful here as well.We envision a place where small businesses and entrepreneurs can come together to share ideas as well as a space where the expense of rent, office staff, internet and utilities are also shared.
As part of this project we will be combining our current operations with the “incubator” will have many benefits and supports our mission statement: “The Greater Eureka Chamber of Commerce is an organization that promotes and advocates for trade, commerce, jobs and tourism.”
In the past few months we have been working with the property owner, design experts and our membership to remodel our new location at 612 G Street in downtown Eureka! Computer models will be available soon so keep watching here and on Facebook for updates!
With this move, we return to our roots, support our mission statement and provide existing members a Business Headquarters, a place in downtown Eureka, where you can meet fellow business members and use the facilities we offer to enhance your business.
We understand the need in our community to provide flexible and affordable work spaces for small and upcoming businesses and it is our focus to create an environment and technology to nurture local entrepreneurs and ensure their success. It is our hope that such a vision will also attract creative thinkers seeking the lifestyle we so value here on the North Coast, and provide a space that can be used by our members to be able to flourish and engage with other businesses.
If you haven’t already, please call and see how renovation is progressing. The flexible work space may be helpful for your business or be just what someone hoping to create a new, cutting edge enterprise needs to get off the ground here in Eureka. Remember, if you are a chamber member, you are part owner of this innovative office concept!
To find out how you can help the chamber bring this exciting project to completion, we are offering sponsorship packages at different levels. Whether you are currently a member or not, you can aid us in our efforts to build a stronger community through better business! Individuals, clubs, families and of course businesses are encouraged to be part of this project! You will be prominently recognized for your contributions in our new reception area. We need your support!
